Winemaking: a journey through the region with the other senses

The visit to the Vena Cava winery was dedicated to the exploration of the production of wine in the Valle de Guadalupe. The winemaker and artist Phil Gregory focused his talk and workshop on another type of creation: one that unites the three senses: taste, sight, and smell.
He explained these senses as mechanisms that are fundamental in the creative process of winemaking, using metaphors to explain a story full of allegories about the sensory experience associated with wine. The presentation took place during a workshop where participants mixed their own wines.
