The Garage Talks were conceived as open exchanges among the artists and curators of the Interventions component of inSite_05. The impetus behind Garage Talks was to explore specific challenges and possibilities raised by inSite_05. Themes ranged from the difference between audience and public, the process of joint participation as a political construction, non-object based public art, curatorial dynamics and the control of urban space, among others.
