Proposal

<p>Julius Rolf, <em>Singing/Cantando, Air/Aire, </em>. inSITE94 (proposal).</p>

German artist Rolf Julius created a minimal sound project in two parts. Singing/Cantando and Air/Aire was installed both in the garden at the Casa de la Cultura Municipal and at Mesa College Art Gallery in San Diego. Combining sounds made with traditional instruments, natural sounds, and random noises, Julius’s approach was to create a sound installation that subtly expanded the sensory experience of each site.
