Mexico City artist José Miguel González Casanova’s piece,entitled The Ball/La bola, was located in one of the hallways at the Casa de la Cultura Municipal in Tijuana. Positioned at either end of the hallway, the artist constructed two identical walls of cardboard boxes pierced at several points by a number of toy rifles. Using motion sensors, from either ensconcement one could contemplate the relationship that was being suggested with the unknown at the receiving end.
