Canadian artist Val Valgardson created an installation at the San Diego Natural History Museum that continued his exploration of insect-triggered or insect-operated machinery. Titled Bug Run/La corrida de cucarachas, the installation consisted of a machine on wheels that was activated by the movement of cockroaches contained within the body of the machine itself.
