Giuliana Vidarte (Lima, Peru, 1981) is a curator, art historian, and teacher. She has developed research and exhibition projects about the relations between visual art and literature, rewritings of history based on the recuperation of non-official discourses, and the history of art and contemporary creation from the Peruvian Amazon. Between 2015 and 2018, she was the curator of Bufeo,Amazonía + Arte, a project researching, managing, and promoting Amazonian art. In 2019, she was the curatorial assistant of the Peruvian Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale. She is currently the Director of Curatorship and Collections at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), Lima.
