Cristina Flores Pescorán (Lima, Perú, 1986) is a multidisciplinary artist. Her work arises from a dialogue between her body, diverse healing processes, medical experiences, family memory, and feminism. She employs textile practices, performance, video art, installation, and actions in public space. Her work has been exhibited in cities such as Lima, Cuzco, La Paz, Chicago, and London, among others. She is part of different feminist collectives relating to embroidery. Her recent individual exhibitions include Tu energía siempre estuvo at La Nueva Fábrica, La Antigua, Guatemala, and Las predicciones under the curatorship of Miguel A. López at ICPNA, Lima. She is the artist-in-residence at Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht, the Netherlands, 2022–23.
